The International Energy Agency (IEE) estimate that approximately 35% of emissions reductions needed to meet net zero by 2050 will likely come from technologies which are not yet commercially available. Hence why Eigen is so passionate about accelerating the successful commercialisation and adoption of impactful climate tech innovations.

The climate tech sector is a huge opportunity for UK plc.  The UK is at the forefront of the market attracting a staggering £12.5 billion in growth-stage equity and VC funding for climate tech ventures between 2019 to 2024, outpacing both the US and China.
