We design tools, processes, KPIs and implement systems required to deliver in a robust and accountable way. Calling on years of experience across multiple programmes, Eigen leads on best practice design and delivery.
Our team of Associates have years of experience delivering world class innovation acceleration support to innovator-SMEs both in UK and the Global South. Starting from an initial Needs Analysis, the team provide sector specific mentoring, network introductions and bespoke support to drive SMEs towards commercialisation milestone. Eigen has particular expertise in both leadership/ team coaching and investment readiness support.
Our in-depth understanding of the barriers to uptake of energy and cleantech related innovations, alongside our extensive network of innovators, corporates and public stakeholders allows us to help set impactful innovation challenges. We coordinate brokering events, project development and partnering between actors across the value chain to address these challenges
Drawing on our expertise in the climate tech sector, we help answer a wide range of market questions. We deliver insightful and actionable research findings through expert interviews, workshops and quantitative studies – making strong use of our extensive network. Clients have included Innovate UK, Energy Systems Catapult (Launchpad), British Business Bank and UK Government (FCDO).

Innovate UK - Energy Catalyst Accelerator

Since 2020, Innovate UK's Energy Catalyst Accelerator Programme has supported over 100 cleantech innovators commercialise and deploy energy access solutions in Africa, Asia and South-East Asia through expert technical assistance. Eigen Ventures is a lead delivery partner on the programme, thus far directly supporting 100+ SME innnovators with 280 advisory projects delivered.
Commonwealth Investment Network (Phase 1)

Eigen Ventures was a lead delivery partner for Phase 1 of the Commonwealth Investment Network (CIN), delivering the programme’s design, implementation strategy and network mobilisation. The CIN, launched at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2024, was established to foster an international ecosystem facilitating private-sector investment and capacity building into climate and climate-resilient projects and businesses in Commonwealth Small and Vulnerable States.
Agritech Spin-Out – Southern Africa

Eigen brought its combined experience in investment, start-up formation, business planning and contractual arrangements to guide the team on their optimum approach for commercialisation. This support helped the team develop a pitch which won a $1m award from the Milken-Motsepe Prize in Green Energy, and to secure agreement on a spinout from the University of Loughborough. The company is now expanding the number of installations in Africa.
Low carbon cold chain startup - Vietnam

Eigen provided expert mentoring and task support over a two-year period to a new start-up in Vietnam. Extensive leadership coaching for the first time CEO ensured the company embedded effective leadership and management practices to maximise performance. During the mentor period, Eigen helped the team develop their business model, their go-to-market strategy and pitch materials which has supported a successful fundraise, success in international competitions, first sales and channel partnerships.
