Net Zero Innovation Portfolio Accelerator
UK Department of Energy and Net Zero
The NZIP Accelerator was delivered as part of the UK Department of Energy Security and Net Zero’s (DESNZ) £1 billion Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP). From 2021 – 2025, it delivered technical assistance to nearly 200 leading UK climate tech innovators to commercialise and scale their businesses. Eigen Ventures was a lead delivery partner for the programme (directly supporting 68 SME with 200+ tasks) and Zero Minus One’s founder was the Programme Director, responsible for successful design and delivery of the 4-year programme.

Energy Catalyst Accelerator
Innovate UK
Since 2020, Innovate UK's Energy Catalyst Accelerator (ECA) programme has supported over 100 climate tech innovators commercialise and deploy energy access solutions in Africa, Asia and South-East Asia through expert technical assistance. Eigen Ventures is a lead delivery partner (2020-ongoing, directly supporting 100+ projects with 280 tasks), and Zero Minus One’s founder was Head of Venture Services at Carbon Trust, responsible for programme design, mobilisation and delivery from 2020 – 2022.

Commonwealth Investment Network
Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
Zero Minus One (working with Eigen Ventures) led Phase 1 of the Commonwealth Investment Network (CIN), delivering the programme’s design, implementation strategy and network mobilisation. The CIN, launched at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2024, was established to foster an international ecosystem facilitating private-sector investment and capacity building into climate and climate-resilient projects and businesses in Commonwealth Small and Vulnerable States.

Energy Launchpad
Energy Systems Catapult
Design, Pilot and Interim Management of Innovator Support Platform for ES Catapult in 2018-2019 (now known as the Energy Launchpad). Eigen with partner 350IP ran a call for 40 applicants, screened and selected 12 to pilot with market-expert guidance plus business support model. The pilot success justified and informed the future funding case for the Energy Launchpad which has since supported over 350 companies. Eigen has subsequently been a service provider of consulting support to a wide range of innovators in launchpad cohorts.
